Travel Grants for Students

With the generous support from the U.S. National Science Foundation and our industry sponsors, HOST 2018 is offering travel grants for full-time students from both U.S. and overseas universities to attend the symposium and offset the costs of registration, transportation, and lodging. The size and number of these grants will depend on the available funds, the number of student applicants, and their respective estimated travel expenses. Grant awards will be announced before the early registration deadline; expenses will be reimbursed after the symposium; grant recipients must submit original receipts to verify their expenditures, and they are also required to submit one paragraph describing their experience or their favorite paper in HOST 2018.

To apply, complete the online form at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd7H4qJkdwo3FdeCQ_kCjUG9QDc5GcYN7wsMrPJyMHpJxZ37Q/viewform and upload your short (up to 2 pages) resume.

At the end of your resume, write "By this message, I verify that Mr./Ms. [Applicant Name] is a full-time student at the [University Name]." and ask your academic advisor or graduate program director to sign and provide his/her email address.

For full consideration, please submit your application by Thursday, April 12, 2018. We expect to announce the acceptance by email by Saturday April 14, 2018.
