The objective it to simply evaluate the quality of the research carried out during the PhD program.

The winner will be selected by the jury right after the presentations and will be announced during the reception event.

Submission

The participants will require to submit a 1-page extended abstract of their Ph.D. thesis (including Figures and Tables). No references are allowed to follow a blind review process. The submission should not include the name of the participant, the advisor(s), and the school. The abstract should include problem statement, objectives, novelty, and the approach. Make sure to explain why your approach was unique and how it advances the state of the art.

In addition, the participants will require to fill the following form (http://www.hostsymposium.org/doc/HOST22_competition_required_form.docx) and submit it along with the extended abstract. Please only submit one pdf file including both extended abstract and the form.
